About Whitchurch House
Whitchurch House is a classic Georgian building set within its own level grounds, in the heart of the beautiful Wye Valley. The grounds feature a variety of flower gardens and patio areas in which to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, scenery and wild life for which the area is so well known (especially the peregrine falcons). Nearby on the banks of the River Wye is the picturesque Church of St. Dubricius which dates back to Saxon times and is still very much in use today. The area known as Symonds Yat is a famous beauty spot attracting tourists and nature lovers throughout the year. |

Accommodation
We have several lounge and relaxation areas which provide meeting places for guests, or perhaps to enjoy a book, watch television, listen to music or participate in the organised activities. All bedrooms are private and individually decorated with the majority having en-suite facilities. Rooms are equipped with a 24 hour call bell system, smoke detectors and thermostatically controlled covered radiators. We offer a variety of room styles and sizes for single occupancy and larger double rooms for couples. Some of our ground floor rooms have private patio and garden areas for relaxing, entertaining or maybe enjoying breakfast on a warm Summer’s morning. We encourage each person to individualise their own room with personal items, pictures, ornaments, or small items of furniture - anything needed to make them feel at home. With the discretion of the Management Team, some pets may be accommodated by prior arrangement. |
